Where have I been!?!?

What an absolutely WILD month I have had!

When I first started sharing my thoughts on interior design and home optimization with you on April 2nd, I did not anticipate that by April 6th I would be completely swallowed up by all the other goals I had set for myself, and that I wouldn't be able to keep up with my blog and other social media accounts.

On top of trying to create and grow my own business from the ground up, I also put myself back in the classroom after a 13 year hiatus. I started a the Connecticut School of Real Estate at the end of February, and the course and test wrapped up on April 24th. I passed my school test! I feel proud of that. Now I am waiting for the certificate to come in the mail so I can sit for the state exam and as soon as that is done I will ALSO be dipping my toe into the world of real estate. I cannot wait.

But, why stop there..... I also sat for all 3 sections of the NCIDQ throughout the month of April which was preceded by copious amounts of studying and practice tests. I won't find out if I am a "real" interior designer until sometime in June, but fingers crossed.

I have also joined the Greater Valley Chamber of Commerce, began more networking, took on a part time job, dealt with some health issues, got back to running, ran a 5k, started a garden, celebrated my cousins 25th birthday, and regularly took all of my vitamins.

Now it is time to get back to this, and working on my business. I can't wait to see what the rest of May has in store for me. Stay tuned.
